Island Bliss, FFXIV’s Animal Crossing Mod

Island Bliss was definitely the most anticipated content in patch 6.2, and players are delighted with what we’ve seen from initial feedback. Do you plan to add new content or new features for this game mode, and if so, which ones?

Naoki Yoshida, director and producer of Final Fantasy XIV:

First, I was relieved to see that it was not a huge mistake and the content was well received. We are currently working on Island Bliss updates as per our schedule. Thus, we will expand areas and add facilities that can be built to improve your island. Of course, we also plan to respond to the detailed player feedback we receive after the release of this content.

New dungeon types?

Can you tell us about alternative dungeons and branching dungeons planned for 6.25, what can players expect?

Naoki Yoshida, director and producer of Final Fantasy XIV:

First of all, branching dungeons introduce a new type of dungeon that can be enjoyed arbitrarily. Thus, players can freely choose to join the fight alone or in a group of up to four players. Passing through the dungeon multiple times allows players to explore more and understand the story better. These aspects are also a new type of gaming experience.

When it comes to sub-dungeons, the community has been saying for years that “we want high-hardware content for small groups!” he asks. Well, these dungeons are the answer to that request, so don’t forget to take on these challenges that only a small group of companions can enjoy!

FF14’s PVP Experience

Added in patch 6.1, the Crystalline Conflict mode has arrived to bring a new PVP experience to Final Fantasy XIV. What has been the feedback from players so far, and are you planning to add new features for future seasons, both in Crystalline Conflict and other PVP modes?

Naoki Yoshida, director and producer of Final Fantasy XIV:

Since many FFXIV players are fans of the Final Fantasy series or RPGs in general, many have stated that they are not comfortable with PvP (Player vs. This is especially true in matches where each player is tied to a specific role, especially healers who have a lot of responsibility and have to do a lot, we’ve had a lot of feedback on this.

In Crystalline Conflict we based the rules on some kind of “regional” element and provided healing capabilities for each role. We based the rules on some kind of “zone” element and provided healing capabilities for each role. Thus, we were able to offer intense matches while giving freedom of job choice. In the future, we will respond to player feedback by making corrections to all types of PvP content based on setting all jobs. We are also working on creating new maps.

Upcoming job adjustments?

If there are no major business changes in patch 6.2, what kind of adjustments can players expect in the future? After watching Letter 72 from the maker, I realized that these changes won’t appeal to everyone, so you want to properly explain them to players before implementing them in-game.

Naoki Yoshida, director and producer of Final Fantasy XIV:

Between now and the next expansion, the main thing we’re working on is balancing everything. Patch 6.2 includes major changes to the critical and net hit formula, so adjustments will continue to be made accordingly.

Housing and housing problem

For a while, Final Fantasy XIV seems to have suffered from an issue with the distribution of houses in residential areas, which is the fault of too many players. What possibilities do you currently have to fix this problem and do you think there are long-term solutions to prevent it from happening again?

Naoki Yoshida, director and producer of Final Fantasy XIV:

As I have mentioned several times, the only way to radically solve this problem is to increase the number of servers. You see, there is no other way to meet demand than to increase the number of servers and add significant additional plots to residential areas.

We are currently in the process of increasing the number of servers to increase the capacity of all worlds. As soon as this is done, we plan to allocate resources to work on increasing the number of parcels. Finally, the global semiconductor shortage is slowly starting to wane, so we ask you to be a little more patient.
